The next day, William's hunger is stronger. He can feel it, like his body needs something to burn. He eats a dozen donuts for breakfast and it barely makes a dent. He eats croissants, bacon, sausage and a slew of pancakes and only after an hour and a half of stuffing his face does he feel full, and so tired he goes right back to sleep.
He wakes up hours later, at dinner time, and finds that Ron is already on the phone placing orders. A half-hour later. three delivery guys arrive at the door each with the amount Ron and William usually eat in one night. Chinese food for four, pizza for six, and two steaks a piece with fries are laid out and almost entirely demolished by the boys who writhe in pain on the sofa together.
