Rooftop View

"Sorry, Matt." My mom said as she lowered me down to the ground. "It's too dangerous to keep you with me if I want to get any bigger."
As I shouted in protest and begged her to keep me next to her huge body she sighed loudly.
"Fine. I won't be able to hold on to you any more, but I can at least put you somewhere you can have a nice view." She carried me over to a nearby office building that stood out above the rows and rows of houses and gently placed me on the roof. "How's that then? Better?"
It was a minor improvement I guess, but this was about as best as I could get from her. She was adamant about keeping me safe while she grew. Even if she was a growth-obsessed goddess in the making she was still my mother and she didn't want me to get hurt. She then stepped backwards in order to create a safe distance from my new position. Her every step was creating huge shockwaves and shaking the ground beneath me that I didn't notice while she was carrying me.
"Okay this looks good enough." She told me. Even though she was hundreds of feet away she didn't have to raise her voice in the slightest for me to hear me. "Give me your best shot, little guy, and I promise I'll come back reward you after I've had my fun."
Sighing to myself over not being able to stay close to her while she grew, I found a spot on the roof to get comfortable and enjoy the show. Pointing the remote at her as she was waiting in anticipation, I hit the button and she grew...
