"Car Twenty," William said, picking up the CB. "What's the location?"
"Car Twenty, I have orders from the Chief that you are not to get involved," the Dispatch officer said.
"Why not?" William asked.
"The suspect is your brother," the dispatch officer said.
"All the more reason for you to tell me where it is," William said. "Robert's a lot of things, but a shooting is not his style. It's not the way he works, and I've been after him for years. If this involves him, it involves me."
"Okay, but the Chief's going to have your badge for breakfast," the officer said.
"I'd rather lose my badge then to see some rookie shoot my brother," William said. "Especially if he is innocent."
"Alright," the officer said. "But the Chief won't be happy."
"When is he with me?" William muttered as the officer gave him the directions.
