I turn the knob to my sisters room, walking in to find that my sister was playing on her old DS. I heard a pause sound come from her game, before she turned her attention towards me, her head tilted sideways.
"What's up?"
"Oh! Uhm... I heard your game.. It sounded familiar. What exactly are you playing?"
she turned her device over towards me, and to my surprise, I saw a still screen showing what looked to be a boss battle-- it was a strange casino-themed one, with all kinds of flashy lights, on the screen, there was a semi-pixelated purple cat girl jumping in the air, fire underneath her. I knew immediately what the game was.
"Hey! Is that sonic rush!?"
My sister simply nodded her head, her expression a little flustered, which caused me to gain a small amount of concern.
"...What's wrong, sis?"
"I can't beat this damn boss battle, I always die at the last three hits."
As she said those words, I found an opportunity to get to play the title again... and although I ditched the series before, I couldn't help but want to try and play the game a little once more...
