This choice: Another person gets ahead of Rob and Louis • Go Back...Chapter #5Another person gets ahead of Rob and Louis by: Marknew “Did you see that?” Louis said, amazed. “Now she’s so hot! I gotta get in there!”
The salesman held up his hand. “You have to wait your turn, young man. This lady is ahead of you too.". He turned around. "I’m sorry. What can I do for you ma’am?”
“It’s Mrs. McGrew, our next door neighbor!” Louis whispered. “The one who’s always yelling at me when my football goes in her flower garden!”
“She’s not bad looking, for a married woman. I’d almost call her a MILF!” Rob whispered back.
Louis shook his head. “You wouldn’t say that if you knew her. She hates kids and she’s as stuck up and mean as they come. What the hell is SHE going to do with muscles!”
Mrs. McGrew stood very straight, as tall as her 5’8” plus her 4” heels would allow, and looked down at the salesman. “I was an excellent athlete when I was in school”, she explained. “I played soccer, volleyball and softball. Unfortunately, gym classes don’t replace that exercise, and, you know, the years do take their toll.”
“Well, we all need a little help, now and then, ma’am, and I’m very happy to be the provider of all the help you can afford. How many units do you wish to purchase?”
“Hmmm, which credit cards do you take?”
“I’m very sorry, but we are a cash and carry business only, ma’am. You’ll carry away the muscles, and we’ll carry away your cash!” he joked.
She looked at him sternly. “That is a shame!” She fished around her Louis Vitton purse. “Well, here is $500. We’ll see whether THAT does the trick!”
“Well, it won’t hurt, ma’am, it sure won’t hurt!” he said, rubbing his hands together.
"$500! We don't have that kind of money!" Louis exclaimed.
"Sshhh!" said Rob. "If he knows that he might skip us again!"
Mrs. McGrew strode crisply into the chamber and shut the door firmly. Moments later there was a loud ding. The door flew open and she practically flew out, looking 25 years younger. She was less muscular than Cassandra but her body looked as solid as steel. Nothing wobbled, jiggled or shook. She still looked down on the salesman from the same height, but her height was now all her own; her high heels were crushed into flat soles. With each step she took, the ground shook slightly.
She turned toward the boys. "Why it's little Louie! Are you here to grow up and get a little muscle?" she asked condescendingly, leaning over him. She slipped her feet out of her shoes and perched on top of a bumpy area designed to prevent people sitting down along the path. She wiggled her toes and placed them on top of two of the bumps and crushed them into dust. "Unless you’re lucky enough to grow up as strong as I am, you had best be sure you don't let your balls find their way into MY garden," she warned and walked off.
"Shit! Shit! Shit!! What a ball-buster" Louis said.
"She's, like, super-powered now! "We just GOT to get our turn!" Rob said, looking beseechingly at the salesman. | Members who added to this interactive story also contributed to these: |
