At first, the temptation to smash up a building or two was pretty strong. But rampaging could wait just a little; Glenn had things to take care of first. One thing, especially.
A smirk on his lips, the giant raccoon strode off down the street, his destination already in mind. Dozens fled before his thudding bare feet, the crowd gathering in response to the commotion and now terrified to discover its source. The chaos below barely registered to Glenn five stories above, the coon too focused on his goal to care all that much. The cracking pavement massaged his feet.
The offices of Systemic Systems, Inc. was a dozen or so blocks away from Genex, only a few minutes' walk for Glenn. The building was an unassuming concrete structure that only reached the middle of Glenn's chest. He leaned over, resting a hand on the rooftop as he peered through the windows of the uppermost floor. A broad grin crossed his face as he saw that a board meeting was going on.
"Hello there," the raccoon cleared his throat as he tapped on the window with one fingertip, shattering the glass.
A coyote who was standing at the lead of the boardroom table spun on his heels, dropping his coffee cup as he saw Glenn's massive mug outside.
"Holy... holy shit," the coyote gasped, staring through the broken window. "Is that you, Glenn?"
"In the fur," the raccoon replied smugly. "Should've taken you up on that bet. Because i just won it,"
"What the fuck did you do to yourself?" the coyote spluttered, shaking his head.
"It might be easier if you came up on the roof. Get the whole experience,"
"You didn't just..."
"If you were going to say 'prove once and for all that Genex is a better company than your poor excuse for a biotech corporation', then yeah, I sure did," Glenn smirked.
