Messing with customers

Steven decided that it was now time to use his powers to mess around with customers in the store, thinking that he would feel less guilty about messing with people he didn't know than with his friends and co-workers. Looking around the store, Steven noticed two different pairs of customers.

Off to his right was an average looking man browsing the store, holding his young daughter by he hand. The guy was wearing jeans and a red polo shirt and his daughter, who looked around 7 years old was wearing a cute pink dress.

Off to his left was a young couple who looked like they were in their late 20s. The guy was slightly thin and wearing a pair of khaki pants and a blue and white plaid shirt. The girl was wearing a pair of really tight skinny jeans and a white top.

After a few seconds of thought, Steven decided to use his powers on ___ first.
