He looks at the strange artifact in his hand. Due to the fact that it took him a long time to find and acquire the artifact, Joey finds much to admire from it. Finally, after the short tussle with his rival, Joey managed to get the magical gemstone.
"Finally, after taking on this expedition, I got a chance to see one of the rare artifacts of legend." Joey says. "This rock can be stored some place safe."
"It's not a rock, it's a stone, geez Recoil." Scarlett tells Joey.
Joey looks at the rock and then back at Scarlett. He shrugs at the thought of it. "Looks like a rock to me."
Scarlet is appalled by both Joey and his casual nature. "That's because you know nothing of the adventures you take on. You're just an errand boy willing to head out and risk the trouble in finding something you barely understand."
Joey looks at her and seems shaken up. "Not true, I am just interested in finding the rare things in life that others hope to see."
Scarlet sighs and looks away. "Typical answer from a typical man. I bet you go home to play Phone of Duty with your friends."
"Hey, I'll have you know, that game is popular enough many. It's doing so well." Joey says. "You're probably just a terrible video game player."
"Right, and I bet you're just eager to be like the regular people instead of doing proper research and doing hard work." Scarlett says.
"Like you know more about this than me?" Joey says with a questioning look.
"As a matter of fact, I do. After all, I have spent my time researching hard to find what I want, training my mind and body to take on the troubles that face me, and making partners who will be there to support me in my endeavers." Scarlett tells him. "Unlike you, I devote more than just skill to a trip." She then stops and continues as she tries to get up. "For me, I must overcome the dread and troubles that ail me in order to get stronger, no matter the cost, something you probably deem otherwise simply useless."
