The Boy Claims not to Know

I smile smally and said, "Okay, but only because you give me no choice."

I open up, feeling the thrill of this boy looking at me. A little bit of guilt entered my brain at this thought, for the boy was barely fourteen. He looked me up and down and I turned around slowly for good measure. He let out a slow breath. He stared for several minutes. He maybe even drooled a little. I pointedly covered myself. He closed his eyes. He cemented it in his memory. He opened his eyes. Then he broke the news.

"I don't know."
