"Okay, you're right, Mark." He took the pills and pocketed them. "I'll just confiscate them from your sister."
"Wait, no, either eat them or give them back." She tried wrestling them out of his pocket, but Lucas was unnaturally strong today and she knew why. "Lucas, give them back!"
Lucas whispered in her ear, "I'll eat them later, it's okay." Whether or not he was lying, he would determine later. But right now, this would get her off of his case.
Julia whispered back, "Talk to me in my room later," and backed off. Then she said out loud, "Fine, keep them. I still have the other ones, so there." She promptly left the room.
Mark calmed down, and was actually pretty happy with Lucas's response. "Yeah, that's right, we're two bros together. You can't separate conjoined minds like this," and pushed their heads against each other while circling their heads with his other hand.
