You are Paul Venomdance, an experienced thief and former SI:7 agent who, after being dismissed for "bad behaviour", offers his services to the highest bidders. Paul was hired by a strange magician from Dalaran to steal, um....borrow, what your employer described as "a revolution in the way of practicing the school of arcane magic". Paul didn't care about the importance of the object he had to recover, in fact, he had always had a kind of disgust for everything to do with magic. Fortunately, the smell of gold and reward tended to make him forget his little reservations.
His objective was in a tower in the Mages' district of Stormwind. In short, nothing who could stop him and his prodigious talents of infiltration, the only risks were perhaps the few magical traps in his path, fortunately bypassed by the counter-spell runes that Paul had received from his employer. He arrived without too much difficulty in the tower's vault room, in front of him was a huge amount of magical artifacts, all of them scattered and in a monster chaos.
