You don't like either option but at least as a baby you can still be a boy. You take the diaper from Sarah.
"Okay go to your room and get changed." Sarah tells you. "Then come back here."
She finds herself a costume and you both go to your respective rooms.
You unfold the diaper onto your bed. It is shaped like a disposeable diaper and even has a plastic outer layer but it is much thicker. You find that there is velcro on the front to fasten it without pins.
You remove your shoes and pants but keep your underwear on. You're not really a baby. Then you sit down on the diaper, pull up the front, and fasten it around your waist.
With a deep breath you return to the living room. Sarah is already waiting. She is wearing a dress. Which must have been her mother's at ome point. It is far too large for her. She is carying an old handbag.
"I'm the mommy" She explains, as she clips a pacifier on the end of a ribbon to your t-shirt. "And you're the baby." It's a simple game, consisting mostly of her pretending to feed you a toy bottle and you crawling around.
"Dinner's ready." Ms Thompson calls from the dining room.
You get up and start toward you room to change out of the diaper.
"Where are you going?" Ms Thompson stops you.
"I was going to change before dinner." You explain.
"There's no need for that." She says. "You can keep playing after dinner."
You hare a door close down the hallway, then laughter.
"Who's the big baby?" Ms Thompson's older daugher, Felicity. asks. She looks a couple of years older than you.
"This is Daniel." Her mother introduces you. "He's playing dressups with Sarah."
"Is Sarah going to feed him his din-dins?" She jokes.
"Can I?" Sarah claps excitedly.
"That's up to Daniel." Ms Thompson says. "but don't make a mess."
