She hungers for playthings

Suddenly, Liz's stomach growled. It was a growl that could be heard throughout the town. Liz patted her stomach and announced to the city. "Watch out tinies! I'm hungry and the only things that are left to eat are...you."

Liz spotted a mother running. She could tell that she was a mother because she was holding the hands of two small children and were struggling to keep up. The children looked plump and tasty. Liz was sure that she if she ate these three fleeing beings, she would not feel hungry for the next couple of hours.

Liz also spotted a hobo sitting on a bench. His hair was unshaven, his clothes were raggedy, and Liz could swear she could smell him all the way from up here. The hobo was skinny and wouldn't provide much nourishment to Liz. However, the hobo looked depressed. As if the weight of the world had gotten to him and crushed his spirit. He welcomed death.

Liz was faced with a moral dilemma. She could eat the two plump children, leaving her full for a couple of hours. However, if she did, no doubt the mother would go through an irreversible depression.

Liz could eat the hobo, putting him out of his misery, but she would not be full.

Then again, Liz could just eat both, but we want Liz to have some human characteristics, don't we? What does Liz do?
