Tails had much less renown than her famous husband, she was something of a wallflower in her past life. Because of that, the only people that really had to be convinced that this was normal was their limited social circle. For the larger world, all she needed to do was change a few records, and like that, any trace of Tails was gone.
Millie, despite her girlier mindset, was still every bit the heroic partner to Sonic she was in her past life, and that was the key to her romance with him. The free-spirited hedgehog had never wanted to be tied down, always adventuring, and Millie had always been by his side. His comrade, his partner, his equal. And that was what he came to love about her. She was the perfect girlfriend for him. Not the lone champion, but one half of a heroic couple, boyfriend and girlfriend, husband and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Sonic the Hedgehog (Though Millie still kept her last name, calling herself "Hedgehog" didn't make sense).
And, when the villains were gone... Sonic finally settled. They still travelled a lot, but he loved his wife enough to slow down for her, at least while she had his children.
It was this wonderful, idyllic love-life between the two that Rouge ventured into that day, finding Millie sitting in a shaded swing-seat, one hand holding a book, the other massaging her swollen belly.
"Hello, Millie." She greeted. indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
