(Fiona's brother.) • Go Back...Chapter #4Some fellow centaurs hurry in with a small boy.... by: DEMONCHICKEN69   As Fiona sat there crying about the loss of her brother and the rest of her family in front of Saleen. A sudden loud galloping sound could be heard coming from down the hall of the hospital, this had made Fiona look up to see a couple of centaurs gallop through the door and in their hands was a little unconscious boy wounded very badly. Since the boys head was looking down Fiona could only catch a glimpse of the boys face, at first she thought it was her brother, but she was just told he was dead so she had no idea what to think. "Oh my, lay back and rest I need to attended to this poor boy." Saleen said as she trotted off to follow the other centaurs.
With in minutes Fiona had passed out from the pain she was feeling from her loss of her family especially her brother, but a part of her though she still had hope that someone was alive. While Fiona slept, in the other from beside Fiona's the centaurs are doing there best to help this poor boy who had been wounded badly after his village was raided. He had cuts all over his body, some burns and a broken leg. Saleen immediately took action and began cleaning the wounds wrapping them up to prevent infection and with the help of others she had fixed the broken leg putting it back together. As for the burns the put a special plant over where the burns are to help the healing process.
After all that the boy seemed to be doing alright and was still breathing, so the other centaurs left while Saleen stayed behind to watch over the boy. After a while Saleen had left the room and had to attended to other wounded people and centaurs that came through the doors. As she was going about her duties for hours Fiona had finally awoken from sleep sitting up in her bed wiping the sleep from her eyes looking around the room she saw nobody in with her. Then looking to where the centaurs had brought the little boy she wanted to go see if he was alright and most of all she wanted to know who he was, so she slowly claimed out of her bed with wobbly legs. With a few wobbly steps later Fiona had began to regain her strength back and was able to walk, but with the help of using the wall for balance.
Slowly walking along Fiona had reached the door where the boy had been brought to and walked in to see the boy just laying there all bandaged up from his wounds when suddenly he just woke up with a loud gasp, but the stared wincing in pain and laid back down on the bed. This had startled Fiona as she almost fell over, but caught herself. There was something about the boys face she recognized, so she got closer to the boy until she was at his bed side and stared at the boy who was moaning and groaning from the pain. Then their eyes locked and that is when Fiona recognized who the boy was, some part of her knew that someone from her was still alive and it was right because laying there right in front of her was her brother. A part of him must has recognized who the little girl was as they both began crying, Fiona wanted to hug her brother tightly, but she knew how much pain it would cause him instead she rested her hand on his and they locked fingers holding each other tightly. "I...I kn..knew you....w.were still alive."
"M...me.....too."
Fiona and her brother stared into each other's teary eyes just glad they are together once again, but her brother soon passed out again, so Fiona decided to head back to her room and when she stepped out if the other room she seen Saleen walk out with a worried look on her face. Then she saw Fiona standing there with tears running down her cheeks and barely able to walk, "oh my god, there you are. I told you not to move from your bed because you're still to weak."
"I know.....my brother....is in....there." Fiona says.
"Here let me help you." Saleen says picking Fiona up and carrying her back to her room and laying her in her bed covering her up, "now don't you leave again, you made me almost have a heart attack."
"Sorry." Is all Fiona says before passing out.
"I better keep an eye on these two." Saleen says walking out of the room to go look over Fiona's brother, who is sound asleep. Saleen finds herself just staring at the boy for a while knowing she could help the boy heal faster if turned into a centaur like her, but she would be in great trouble if she did. Thinking it over she decided to do it anyways and began galloping down the hall to a locked room where she opened it up and walked grabbing two potions one for female centaur and male centaur transformation. Quickly she ran out of the room locking the door behind her and made her way to Fiona and her brother, but as she got there she had forgotten which potion was which because they are very similar in color and are not labeled. "We should really label these."
Taking a guess at which is which she went into Fiona's room and woke her up and to,d her to drink all of the liquid, then she went into Fiona's brother's room and had gotten him to wake up and helped him drink the potion. After that Saleen went back to dispose of the bottles and since it will take a few days for any transformation to appear and hoped she had given the two the correct potion. Only time will tell if Saleen had made the correct guess, so she went on about her duties tending to others.   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
