The man gave it to Spidey :"the city is at peace man, it's a thank from all the people of the city, here it's free for you."
Spidey took it, and as he felt a light dizzy feeling in his head, as if a danger was around, he took it as sign of hunger and ate the dog as if there was no tomorrow.
