You and your girlfriend were hit

The car hit both you and your girlfriend, the last thing you saw before you blacked out was blood spilling out of your girlfriends head.

You awoke, you where groggy and your head hurt, the walls where white and you could hear machines beeping all around you.

“Am I in a hospital?” you thought to yourself.

You try to sit up but find you can barely move, You try to talk but find there’s a tube down your throat.

“What happened?” You think

Then a nurse came in, upon seeing your eyes where open she called a doctor, who then proceeded to examine you. He pricks your toe you are barley able to pull it away after the sharp pain.

The doctor then proceeds to dictate into a tape recorder “Patient shows signs of movement and feeling below the neck, as expected it’s currently weak but with physical therapy control should increase, no signs of rejection are present yet”

You grunt, trying to ask the doctor something. Seeing this the nurse gives you a pad of paper and a pencil. “I’m sorry the eye capture computer won’t be hear until tomorrow, you woke up sooner then expected” She apologizes

“Where is my girlfriend, where is Kim? What happened?” You scribble barley legible.

Seeing this the doctor explains “You where in a car accident, Kims head was crushed as was your chest, the father of the man who hit you flew me and several other specialists in to try and save you, the only way was an experimental procedure your head was grafted onto Kims body using an experimental procedure that has connected the spine”

You don't know what to feel, this was all to much to take in. Not only did you lose the (current) love of your life but you lost your boy
