In the late 1690s fear and paranoia was sweeping through small communities all throughout the Massachusetts colony. Most of the accusations are the result of jealous or vindictive townsfolk getting revenge on their neighbors for petty squabbles. One woman becomes a victim of these accusations made by the wives of several men they claimed she seduced with her other worldly powers. Despite no hard evidence of witchcraft and based solely on witness testimony the woman is found guilty of being a witch and sentenced to burn at the stake. On the day of her execution as her guards light the pike ablaze she makes a bargain with the Devil to save her life and get revenge of the town and its people.
