Link was resting on the side of a tree. He had just returned from saving Labrynna and Holodrum from Trinrova's evil scheme, and thwarted the twisted version of Ganon they had resurrected. It had been a grand adventure, but right now Link was content to gaze into the sky and relax after a hard quest's work.
He adjusted himself against the trunk of the tree, and in doing so his hand slipped. He felt something on the grass. He grabbed it without looking, and immediately knowledge of the Swap Wand entered his mind. His eyes opened wide as he realized that with this item, he could switch whatever he wanted and reality would bend to accommodate it. He had used many magical items in his journey, but nothing like this.
