When finding out that they were standing naked in a corral of horses, most women would have started screaming and panicking.
Fortunately, Zelda was not "most woman" and had gotten proper manners drilled into her since before she could walk. Having been taught that princesses always acted calm and elegant under pressure, Zelda opted for the second alternative: panicking inside her own head.
After what felt like a hour her thoughts running a hundred miles a second, hyperventilating and internal screaming, Zelda started to calm down and think about this rationally. In hindsight it was pretty obvious what had happened, she had thought about swapping lives With Epona and the wand, taking her literally, had fulfilled her wish.
"This means that the wand really works!" Zelda cheered, all pretense of being a lady forgotten.
She sat down and twirled the wand in her hands, "though i wonder what i should do now?"
