“Thank you, your shoulder looks safe” you say. Kelly raises her hand toward her left shoulder. You step off her huge palm and onto her shoulder. You run across her shoulder and toward her neck. She starts walking, and you hug her neck to stay on. Kelly chuckled. “That's sweet of you to hug me in your tiny condition," she says as she nears the classroom door. “Sorry I didn't mean to move so fast, seeing as we just met,” you reply. You look down, past her jean legs and heeled sandals to the floor. It’s definitely a lot higher than your mother’s shoulder. “Don’t worry, you’re fine little guy.” Kelly replies. You realize she’s right. You’re both back at the classroom. She walks through the door and goes to her desk at the back row next to the window. She places you on her desk. Your the last two students in the room before the bell rings. Your teacher, Mrs. Quinn, is at the front of the room. “Everyone, we have a new student with Kelly, his name is Mark. You all got the email about his rare birth condition so let’s make him feel welcome.” she says. The teacher instructed everyone to watch a video on the board for the class period. 5 minutes into the video, someone in front of Kelly starts to poke fun at your size. “Heh heh. Midget.” He says. “Don’t mind if I slam my fist on you, do you ant?” He says again. You feel vulnerable. Kelly notices. “Back off.” She says to the boy and he turns back to face the board. “Hey, sorry Mark. If you want, you can sit in one of my hoop earrings so you can see the video better or you can sit on the bridge of my nose (she laughs a bit at the thought of you on her cute nose).
