Jeremy and Alice were having the best of times, the couple having moved in together half a year ago, and Jeremy was planning to propose to Alice, when breaking news came out of a comet hitting the Earth in the middle of Nebraska. Luckily, it was small enough that it didn't cause massive damage, but reports days later reveal the discovery of an alien virus engineered and carried on extremely advanced nanomachines. The CDC soon announced the virus seemed to only affect women, altering them, mutating their bodies, their minds (to varying degrees), and even their wardrobe and other things they touched, that the jet stream has spread the virus over half the globe, there was currently no known cure, and it seemed only 3 out of 10 women seemed immune or resistant to the virus. Alice, however, discovered she wasn't one of the lucky ones. She was infected.
