Finally, the day came when your new children were to be born. You sit outside the door to Mihal's chambers, waiting for the news. On the other side you hear voices and yells coming from Mihal. "You're almost there my queen! Push!" You hear a voice say. Another cry of pain comes from inside. You feel really sorry for Mihal, her having to go through this. But she said so herself, this would be a joyous occasion for the island.
Finally, the door opens, and a cheetah anthro steps out. "It's done." She says smiling. "Congratulations! You're a father!" She leads you into the room. She lifts you up and places you on the bed at Mihal's feet. There she lay, holding the twins in her arms, a huge smile on her face, tears of joy in her eyes.
"Oh my King!" She says as you walk toward her. The twins are wrapped in wool blankets, both of them sound asleep. "It's just as we had hoped!" She says excitedly. "One of them is a male! Say hello to Kevin and Yasmin."
You take a look at your new children. They are both red foxes like their mother, except there is a major difference with the Kevin. He has the head of a fox, and the body of a human! "He looks just like you!" Says Mihal.
You smile. "Except he has your eyes. And nose. and ears." You both laugh.
The news of the new princess and the first prince in the island's history quickly spread, and there is to be a grand celebration. Mihal walks through the streets, a baby in each arm, and you on her shoulder. The other anthros throw confetti around and cheer. Later, and feast is held. You sit next to Mihal, eating a particularly good piece of that strange meat, as the other amazons come up and congratulate the both of you.
After the feast, some amazons begin playing music on wooden flutes and drums, and there was much dancing. Mihal held you in her palm while she slowly stepped about, dancing with you as best as she could. "I love you." She says. "I love you too." You say back. She holds you to her breast and hugs you.
"Well," you think, "Now I'm a father, and a king. And there are many more children on the way. Lets just wait and see what the future holds."
