This choice: Hunters find you in the night! • Go Back...Chapter #6Hunters find you in the night! by: Unknown As you wake up a few hours later, you smell burning wood. You open your eyes, and there are three amazons sitting around a fire in front of you! Then you realize you hands and feet have been tied together. Where was Kri!?
The three hunters are all felines. One is a panther, with long black hair and a scar across her right eye. The second is a lioness, with sandy hair in braids. The third is a cheetah, with black hair in a long ponytail.
They seem to be arguing about something. "I saw him first, so he's mine!" Says the panther. "You only heard his snoring! I'm the one who found where he was sleeping!" Says The lioness. "why don't we just share him?" Suggests the cheetah. "We each get him for a day in turns, then start of over again and again."
As they continue to argue, the panther turns around and sees you. "So you're awake." She says. She picks up her spear from beside her and strides over pointing it at you, the tip centimeters from your cheek. "Mistress Kina said whoever finds you gets to do whatever they want with you." She says, lightly pressing the spear tip to your skin. You can feel the cold, golden point slowly going deeper into your flesh.
"I was thinking of making you my little slave." She says grinning. "We found him, so we all get him!" Says the lioness. "Shut up!" Snaps the panther. "I wasn't talking to you." She bends down until her face is above yours. "Or maybe, I could just eat you right here." She gives your cheek a long lick. You shiver at the touch of her rough tongue.
You hear voice inside your head. It sounds like Kri's. "Don't worry. I will not let them harm you." The panther grins and extends a clawed finger to your cheek. "What's wrong? Don't like to be touched?" She quickly runs her claw across you cheek, leaving a thin cut. You yelp in surprise.
"Get used to it my slave." she says. "You're going to be my slave for more than just housework. And I like it rough." The lioness and cheetah stand up. "For the last time, he's ours too!" They say at the same time. "You and what army?" Responds the panther snarling.
They all face each other, arguing again. They start getting physical, pushing and clawing at each other. They're so engrossed in their fight, they don't notice the vine snaking along the ground towards them. It wraps around the cheetah's ankle and yanks, pulling her feet out from under her and dragging her into the jungle.
The remaining two grab their spears and look around in fear. The lioness walks wearily towards the edge of the clearing. a large flower pod burst up from the ground. It opens to reveal a long sharp barb, that it shoots straight into the lioness's neck. The lioness falls over backwards, out.
Now only the panther is left. She looks from side to side, spinning around and around, eyes wide open for any threat. Suddenly, roots spring up from under her, curl around her legs, and pull her into the ground. She screams in panic, desperately cutting at the roots with her claws. But for each one she cuts, two more grow in its place.
Now only her head is sticking out of the ground. She wriggles her body around under the soil, but can't get free. The vines tying your arms and legs slacken, and you are able to free yourself and run off.
You run for several minutes through the jungle, with only the moon to light your way. You look behind you, to see if they are following, and WHAM! You run straight into something.
You fall back on your rear, look up, and see what you ran into was Kri. "She smiles and extends a hand to help you up. "I told you I wouldn't let them hurt you." She pulls you onto your feet.
"That was you?" You ask. "Of course." She responds. "You didn't think i'd abandon you, did you?"
"But why did you leave in the first place?" You ask, a little mad. "I had just gone for a minute to get a drink from a nearby stream. I'm sorry, that was very irresponsible of me." She takes your hand and you follow her. "From now on, you're not leaving my side."
"But I thought you hate killing?" You ask. as she leads you deeper into the jungle. "I didn't kill them. They are merely.........incapacitated. They'll be fine."
She brings you to a cave in the side of a mountain. "It should be safer in here." She gathers a pile of palm leaves and grass for you to lay on. You curl up on the "bed" and doze off again. Kri sits ten feet away from you leaning against the cave wall. "No mistakes this time. I'll watch him all night if I have to."  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
