Chapter #7The Goddess of War by: Unknown It’s been about six months since your children were born. Already they are twice your size. Mihal is always there when they want to play, to make sure they don’t end up hurting you. They are starting to teethe, and are at the stage where they like to chew on things, including you.
Mihal has already had to pull you out of their mouths twice. You still have some teeth marks on you from them. You hated to admit it, but you were kind of afraid of them.
You would often go on walks through the city, just to get away from them for a while. It was sad, but what else could you do? On one such walk, you were approached by a mysterious figure.
She was covered from head to toe in a brown cloak. Her face was shrouded in shadow from her hood. The strange thing was that she was shorter than the other anthros, about your size. “My liege.” She said. “You must come with me at once, there is a terrible emergency!”
That got your attention. “Lead the way.” You say. She turns and jogs ahead of you. you follow her through the city streets, out into the jungle. She leads you through the tall grass and ferns to a small clearing surrounded by trees.
She suddenly stops. “So, what’s the emergency?” You say, catching your breath. “There is no emergency.” She says, not turning around. “What? You brought me here for nothing?” You say, irritated. “Who do you think you are.
Beneath her hood, the figure smirks. “Do you not recognize me?” You’re getting really annoyed now. “No! How can I recognize you if I can’t even see your face?”
The figure turns and lets her cloak slide off of her to the ground. She is a black panther, with glowing yellow eyes, and long black hair down to her waist. She is dressed in a long, blood red skirt and sleeveless top that exposes her trim her belly. She wears two golden bracers on her forearms, and a gold circlet around her head. At her side is a golden sword, sheathed in a black scabbard.
“Am I familiar now?” She asks, grinning. Now you do recognize her. You have seen images of her painted on the palace walls. “I’ve seen you before.” You say. “But I do not know your name.”
“I am Morgana, Goddess of War.” You jaw nearly hits the ground. “You’re a goddess?” You say, in awe. “Indeed I am.” She says. “Why did you bring me here?” You ask. She grins. “So I can have you all to myself.”
You begin to back away in fear as she steps toward you. “ Now, now, don’t be afraid.” She says. “I’m about to make you an offer you won’t be able to resist.” You back into a tree, and she presses herself against you. “What do you say we take this someplace more……..comfortable?”
The world around you begin to fade and waver, like a mirage. Everything is being distorted. Suddenly, you find yourself in a green field with an orange sky, a golden sun setting on the horizon. “Where are we?” You ask, looking around at the sudden change of scenery.
“This is Nirvala, the home of the gods.” says Morgana. “Come with me, I’ll take you to my palace.” She leads you through the field to a building. made of black marble and gold, designed like a Greek temple. guarding the entrance is two anthros in golden armor and red capes, In their hands the hold spears and large round shields with strange symbols painted on them. They bow as Morgana passes, leading you through a long, black marble hall, illuminated by glowing white crystals in the walls.
“Who are they?” You ask. “My personal guards, the Furkuries. Mortals given the honor of serving me in the afterlife. I based them off of my favorite warriors, the ones you people call Spartans.”
“ You know about human warriors?” You ask. “Of course.” She says. “ I admire humans rather fondly. Mainly because you are always at war with each other. It’s amazing your kind aren’t extinct, especially with the amazing weapons you create. Although, I prefer fighting your enemy close and personal. Killing them from a distance is cowardly if you ask me.”
She leads you to her throne room. Two servants, a fox and a skunk, dressed in purple gowns, run up to her. “Mistress Morgana, who is this?” Says the skunk, indicating you. “He is my guest. I want you to bring me a bottle of my special wine.” Unknown to you, when she says “special” She winks to the skunk.
“Yes, mistress.” Says the skunk, bowing before running off. Morgana points to the fox. “You, prepare us dinner.” The fox bows as well and heads for the kitchens. You notice that Morgana is shorter than her servants. “Why are you my size, instead ten feet tall like the others?” You ask.
“I can be any size I want.” Says Morgana as she leads you to the dining room. “I just thought you would be more comfortable around me if I were down to your level.” You both sit at a table carved from black marble like everything else in the palace.
“So, what do you want with me?” You ask. “I’ll tell you after the meal.” The servants bring out a large roasted bird, though you couldn’t tell what bird it was. As you eat, the skunk from earlier brings you crystal bottle of red wine. You drink it and enjoy in immensely. As you drink, Morgana thinks to herself “That potion should kick in any time now. Then, he will be like clay in my hands.”
After the meal, Morgana leads you to her personal hot springs. She removes her clothes, revealing her amazing body. “Come on.” she says. Slightly intoxicated from the wine, you strip down and get in the spring with her.
“Enough delays, Morgana. Tell me why you brought me here.” You say. Morgana grabs a hold of you and pulls you close to her. she stares into your eyes and giggles. “You’re lucky you’re good looking, so I won’t eviscerate you for daring to give me orders.”
She places her hands on your head and holds you face up to hers. “The reason I brought you here, is this.” She presses her lips to yours, sliding her tongue into your mouth. For a moment you kiss back, but suddenly realize, “What the f&%^$ am I doing!?”
You quickly push her away and get out of the spring, drying off with a towel and putting your clothes back on. “How dare you reject me!” Says Morgana, angered. “How dare you try to steal me!” You retort back. “I have a wife, a family! Now send me back to the island!” Morgana scowls. “You’re afraid of your own family. Wouldn’t you rather have me? I can make your every fantasy come alive. What do you like? Wealth?”
Suddenly, you’re no longer in the hotsprings. You are in a room filled with mountains of gold and jewels. “Women?” The piles of treasure disappear, and you are surrounded by scantily clad anthro females, all of them winking or flirting with you.
“No!” You say. The crowd of females vanishes, and you are in the springs again. “I love Mihal, and only Mihal. I will not abandon her or my children for anything that you can offer.”
Morgana snarls. “Then begone! But mark my words, mortal, you just made the biggest mistake of your life!” she waves a hand and you vanish back to the island. “Foolish mortal.” Says Morgana with a half sneer, half evil smile. “I’m not only the Goddess of War, I’m also the goddess of Revenge.”
Option 1: Morgana unleashes a terrible plague upon the island, infecting hundreds of citizens. The only way she will end it, is if you submit to her
Option 2: Morgana curses you with bad luck. You continually have one misfortune after another, scoring several injuries as well.
