Chapter #3

The cavernous hole.

Spyro spotted a island slowly drift across their cave. It looked normale, aside from the large hole in its center, and a large colum of greenish steam was coming out of the cavern.

Spyro's interest sparked up, and he went to go wake Cynder from her slumber. He nudged her awake with his nose, and Cynder let loose a yawn, saying,"What is it, Spyro?"

"I found this really cool place. Come," he answered cheery.

After strenching her stuff joits out, she went to go see what Spyro was talking about. But, as soon as she arived there, Spyro took flight, yelling,"Race ya there!"

"Wait, Spyro!" she shouted back, but the effort was fruitless. She took off after him, following where ever he was going. He suddenly, he dove straight downwards into a large hole the ground.

Cynder was reluctent to enter, but after a moment, flew after Spyro. The hole was ilummanated by the light seeping through the roof, and casted a spotlight where Cynder landed.

"Spyro,where you!" Cynder called out, her voice echoing into the caves darkest corners. "I'm over here!" she heard him call. Cynder followed the voice until she spotted Spyro.

He was standing on top of a small hill. When Cynder reached him, he said,"You gotta see this." Cynder peered over the gull and saw......
