Naruto had received an S level mission, lately there has been records of ancient temples and ruins being invaded and stolen throughout the Fire Country and its neighboring countries.
Naruto as one of Konoha's most powerful ninjas was sent to participate in the investigation. He was at that moment looking at a board containing all the records of previous attacks with Shikamaru when he lit a cigarette and turned to Naruto.
'Naruto I think I figured it out, criminals are going to an old sanctuary in the Northeast of Fire Country'
He said pointing to a point on the continent map.
Naruto surprised by Shikamaru's reasoning took a while to be able to answer him.
'Why do you think this Shikamaru?'
'Criminals are collecting parts of ancient glyphs and putting them together. The language written on them was considered undecipherable but if they are going to so much trouble to get them it must be something extremely powerful, and they must be deciphering it somehow is turning it into a scroll, suppose they go to this sanctuary as it is there is the last piece that is missing.'
'Understood so I must hurry'
'By the way, I suggest you don't take anyone with you, more people would just hinder the mission, our luck is that this sanctuary is close to this command post so it won't take you long to get there.'
Naruto then went as quickly as possible to the temple, and when he got there he saw...
