Alone on the floor

    by: Norman33 Author IconMail Icon
You awake, you don't know how much longer alone on the floor. A quick check confirms it wasn't a dream. You're now Amber. You look over and see Matt still tied in the chair. He's sleeping now. "Matt, Matt", You call out while lifting yourself off the floor. The sound of your voice grates on your nerves. You go over to Matt and give him a shake. His eyes open and you remove the gag before working on the knots. It's a good thing Amber works out, because the knots are tight. "We've got to catch up with that bitch and get my body back", you say removing the last bit of rope. Matt knods his head and replies with, "I think I know where they might be going. Amber always wanted to honeymoon in Hawaii". You pause for a second. Matt doesn't seem all the freaked out. In fact he seems pretty calm. That's not like him. You shrug it off and say, "Ok, I'm going to secure my bank account and check my credit cards. You book us tickets to Hawaii. Then we'll head over to your house and pack some clothes real quick. With any luck we won't be to far behind them". You check your accounts. Amber did access then less than an hour ago and withdrew a large sum of cash. Strangely she didn't take it all. In fact she didn't even take half. You open another account online and move the rest of the cash around. She won't be able to access the rest not knowing what bank it's in, or the account numbers. The bank must have been short on cash, or she didn't feel rushed. She is now. It would only take her showing up with your ID and answering some questions. She probably researched you life some before doing this. "I booked us on the next flight", Matt shouts while re-entering the room. You log off and get up to go. You have to look up to Matt now. He notices you looking and asks, "What's wrong"? "It's just that, damn. Amber is short", you replie. Matt laughs and says, "You mean you're short". You frown and say, "Not funny, lets go". You head out, get in the car, and head to Matt's house.

You have the following choices:

1. At Matt's house

*Pen*
2. At the airport

*Pen* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
