Their feet had grown to a size 38 When Ryoko asks, "What's that smell? It's getting stronger" Marina replies, "I think it's out feet." They heard more tearing noises as the fronts of their shoes continued to tear, their toes seeking more room. the sides and tops of the shoes looking engorged as their feet are getting too big for them. the sides at the front start to tear as their feet get too wide for their shoes as they grow to a size 38 1/2. "Our feet are really starting to smell," Ryoko says. "Don't remind me, and it's only getting worse," Marina replies.
