As they continued to work, their feet were still growing slowly. At a size 39 their feet were ripping the sides of their shoes. Marina and Ryoko are working as quickly as they can so that they can leave when they hear another slight tearing noise and notice that the heels of their shoes are tearing. Their feet have grown to a size 39 1/2 and the soles of their shoes fall off. They both take off the remains of their ruined shoes, noticing how strong their foot odor is now that their sock clad feet are fully exposed. The material of their socks are being strecthed to the point that you are able to see their toes thru the fabric. When they finish their assignment they stand up and look at each other.
"We should go see a doctor," Ryoko says.
"And be treated like freaks?!" Marina replies, "No, lets get some new shoes for now and figure this out."
They both hear a slight ripping noise and look down. Their big toes have ripped thru the front of the socks as their feet expand to a size 40.
