Kes had told Neelix to meet her in the transporter room. He couldn't imagine why she'd want to meet there, but it sounded kind of exciting - like a little adventure! When he got to the transporter room, there was no one there. But then Neelix found a blindfold with a note attached to it. The note was from Kes. It read:
*********Hello Neelix. I'm so glad you found my note. I hope you don't mind a little adventure. I promise your surprise will be worth the wait. All you have to do is push the button on the transporter - it's already programmed to beam you right to me, oh and don't forget to put on the blindfold. I don't want you peeking before I'm ready with your surprise! I'm waiting for you, darling - Love, Kes**********
Neelix pushed the button. He only had a few seconds to get onto the transporter pad, and put on his blindfold. Then he disappeared in a silvery shimmer of light.
What Neelix didn't realize is that Kes had the transporter programmed to reassemble him much smaller than normal. When he re-materializes, Neelix will only be about 30 inches tall! Kes wanted to give him a really deep tissue massage, and she figured it would be easier if he were smaller.
