Ryan quickly made up an excuse for his apparent confusion which his father seemed to buy.
"If you say so. Just try not to pull so many all-nighters, son." His father spoke sagely.
"Will do, Dad." Ryan tried to assure him. If felt so strange to address his father like he usually did now that he was in his sister's body. This was equal parts amusing and bizarre.
Did this really mean that Ashley was now in their father's body? If so, then holy crap, she was now in a middle-aged man's body just like the movie Jumanji.
Ryan was so lost in thought that he hadn't even noticed his father return to the paper he was reading. When he did, he took in just how odd it was to see Ashley reading newsprint instead of just using her phone.
"So..." he began. "What are you reading?"
"Beetle Bailey." His father smiled as he showed off the small comic strip.
That shouldn't have come as much of a surprise considering his father loved to read the comic strips in the newspaper just as much as the actual news.
It was when Ryan's eyes fell on the sports section that Ryan got an idea. "Hey Dad..."
"Yeah?" He responded.
"Wanna play golf in the backyard?" Ryan asked.
His father in his sister's body neatly folded the paper and stood nowhere near as tall as he used to which Ryan found amusing. He never had to look down to meet his father's gaze before.
"You're on." He replied.
Perfect. This would give him a chance to see if being in his sister's body affected his golf swing.
