Jack's concentration was interrupted by the explosion of a violent argument between Riley and his mom. He put the stone down for now and went out to settle the argument. In the process, instead of smoothing things out, he and Mary got into it instead.
Riley, seeing an opportunity to back out of this, slid quietly away and into the den. He noticed that it was more clean than he had ever seen it. What was dad doing in here? He flipped on one of his favorite shows to get away from the yelling in the other room. He absently picked up the odd stone sitting on the table next to him. As he moved it in his hand, and seeing the girls on the show, it just rekindled his dad yelling at him for chasing girls instead of studying. In frustration he mumbled, "I wish dad was one of the hottest girls in my class. Then he could help me study... my way."
He noticed a strange feeling from the stone he was holding. Suddenly, he heard his dad's voice scream. Not like he does at him or his mom, but a scream of fear. What was going on? He rushed out, still holding the stone.
His mom looked panicked, "Riley! Stay back! Your dad is going insane!"
Jack looked at Riley, "I am NOT your dad! I am not even a boy! Give me my body back!"
Riley got a sick feeling in his stomach, "If you are not dad, who are you?"
Jack looked at him, "I am Megan Hammond! This is gross! Get me back!"
In a flash, Riley realized that the stone had granted his wish! So if Megan was in his dad's body... the thought made him laugh! Dad must be in Megan's body!
Jack's body said, "Stop laughing! This is not funny!"
Riley just grinned, "Cool down. I can fix this."
Megan, in Jack's body, said, "Good. Do it."
Riley closed his eyes and wished silently, "I wish that Megan would forget who she was, and think she had always been my dad, with all of his memories and job skills, and that both he and mom would forget that anything was ever said about him being Megan."
There was a confused look on Jack/Megan's face, as well as Mary's, then Jack looked at Riley and said, "Stop grinning young man! We will have a talk soon enough!" Then he went back to arguing with Mary.
Riley grinned and went back into the den. "I wish that dad, in Megan's body, would still remember who he really is, but could only answer to the name of Megan, in every way, unless alone with me."
Soon, the phone rang, and Riley looked at the caller id. It was Megan's phone! Riley answered, "Hello?"
He heard Megan's voice on the other end, "Riley? You did this! You have the stone! Wish me back!"
Riley acted like he didn't know what she was saying, "Megan? Are you okay? You sound strange."
He laughed to himself when she said, "This isn't Megan! I am Megan! I am Megan Hammond!" She howled, "No! You know very well what I mean young man! Wish me back!"
Riley said, "My dad is in the house arguing with mom right now. If you want to talk though, you can..."
