Casey yawned and stretched sleepily, stirring at the smell of brewing coffee.
Dylan gently pulled the curtains open, bathing the room in sunlight. Casey squinted at the brightness, putting her hand over her forehead. The sunlight glinted on her ring in the process, causing her to stop and admire her new band once more.
“My love, it’s too early - let’s rot for a bit longer.” Casey implored.
Dylan sidled up next to his new wife in bed, happily obliging.
“But…” he started kissing her neck, “we have” sliding down her stomach “so” flipping the band of her underwear “much to do today.”
Dylan looked up at her with a devilish grin.
“Snorkel at 10, massage at 1, dinner at 8…how will we manage?”
Casey rolled her eyes and smiled, exhaling into Dylan’s touch.
“Okay, one more round can’t hurt.”

Dylan and Casey had just gotten married and were at the start of their honeymoon. They were staying at a very private resort, where they had their own beach and basically only had to emerge for food or spa services.
They’d been engaged for two years, dating for four before - so they’d been together for quite some time. They had a casual, joking style of relationship, and they were very into each other. Neither of them was above a dare and sometimes their stubbornness took things a bit too far.
Both were working remotely and they planned on “nomading” around for their next few months as newlyweds, with their first stop being fully off from work in the Caribbean on this semi private island.
