You get to work on grabbing a few useful brushes and looking your posing teacher over to get a good sense of what you're painting. She was at least lit well and the pose gave some good shapes for you to work off of, it shouldn't be too hard to do something accurate. Everyone was getting to work, some students getting to painting right away, while others took more time to figure out how they should start. It didn't take you too long to figure out what you wanted to do as you got to picking paints and starting to form an image.
As time went on you crafted a better and better image, luckily you had an entire class period to get things done so you were sure that it would end up coming out well. Some students were pacing themselves well while others seemed at a loss of where to go, many students just looked like they wanted something to snack on with the amount of stomach growls you were hearing. You wondered what that was about, probably had something to do with everyone seeming to be a bit plumper than they should. As class was getting closer to wrapping up, you put the finishing touches on your piece, satisfied with the results of your hard work.
"That's it class, now, turn your canvases in to me." Ms. Kelly said, "You will not be graded on expertise, just how much effort you put into it. So I hope all of you did your best." She started picking up the canvases one by one, going to set them each down on her desk after grabbing them. She soon came over to your table as you held your painting out to her. She paused as she looked over it, a sly smile coming over her face as she looked at it. It was a very impressive piece, having made excellent use of color and shading while giving a very accurate yet still stylized portrayal of the teacher's noticeably rotund body. "Stay with me a minute after class then." The teacher said, patting you on the shoulder before going to collect the rest of the art pieces.
The bell went off a short time later as students got up to start heading to their next class, they all seemed a bit disappointed in what had transpired as they all left. You went over to Ms. Kelly's desk to see what she had wanted with you. "That was some very good art, I think you deserve a reward for going above and beyond with the effort." Your teacher said with a happy smile, pulling open a drawer on her desk and pulling out what looked like a normal chocolate chip cookie, "Here, take this before heading to your next class. I hope you enjoy it!" You eyed the cookie in your hand, it wasn't like you could just shove it in your pocket, and it would be rude to not eat it, so you simply popped it in your mouth and started walking off.
