Lifting the wooden bar off the door, six of the seven fat little goat kids were jumping excitedly at the prospect of the candy and junk-food their mother was bringing home. The seventh was already waddling for a hiding place, with good reason, as the door swung open and revealed the toothy grin of the hungry wolf. Licking the remnants of the honey from his lips, the grizzly brown wolf took a moment to shake all the flower from his fur before stepping menacingly towards the kids. “Rawr...” he swiped jokingly at the air in front of him, and all the fat little goats scrambled, waddling to whatever hiding place they could reach the fastest.
The wolf grinned, looking around at the goats trying to squeeze under the couch, or into an over-sized flower pot, all too round to fit into their hiding places. still grinning he leaned his head back, he straightened the collar on his flannel shirt and tied a handkerchief as a bib. “Dinner is served...” He said, licking his lips and pushing out on his suspenders, the elastic bands snapped back against the flannel and he stepped into the cabin, kicking the door shut behind him. He took a moment to look around again, trying to decide where to begin, when a crunching noise from the kitchen caught his full attention.
