You pulled her out of your pocket and had her rest on your hands yousaw she was asleep. 'Must have been comfortable with my pocket rocking back and froth.' You think to yourself. You put her down on your dresser, about bed level and right next to the bed, and lay down. You look at her and wonder a lot of things, why is she so beat up, why did she fall out a tree, and why was she in a tree in the first place. She just laid there and slept way. You felt happy she was resting but you were unsure what you were going with your parents. You could't think of anything but give her back to her parents. She started to move a little. She started to look like she was being chased by something. You poke her on her side and she starts to wake up. She looks around quickly and sees you and starts to back away from you again. "I-I-I don't want to talk about it." she says as she turns around.
"Come on you can tell me."
"I said no!" she yells at you.
"Why not?" you ask her.
"Because it's too painful to remember."
You look at her as she has her back to you, "Can you tell me what you can about your family? Or any thing about your past?" you ask her.
She is now sitting down still back to you and says one thing, "Too painful." you just look at her and feel bad again. What ever her past was it must have been a hell for her. You look at her and pet her back again. She turns around and pushes your finger away from her. You know she needs a shoulder to cry on so you pick her up and put her on your shoulder. She looks at you in fear until you told her, "Go ahead and cry. It's okay." And with that she cries on your shoulder for five minutes. Then .....
