It was an unseasonably warm Spring night, and Lan had been finding it hard to sleep. He discarded his shirt and shorts, having drenched them in sweat. Laying in his bed with only his briefs and thin sheet to cover him, he still felt too warm. With his window open, a slight breeze helped, but still he couldn't find comfort. In his exhausted state, he removed his last article of clothing and threw his briefs onto the pile of sweat soaked clothes by his door. With his sheet protecting his modesty, he was finally able to fall asleep. However, things were going to be much less comfortable the next morning.
"Lan? LAN?! You awake? It's time for school!" his mother shouted.
Lan's eyes opened and groggily gazed upon his nightstand. His vision focused on his alarm clock, and he saw that he was indeed running late! He rushed to the bathroom to brush his teeth and was about to head downstairs when he noticed his naked body. Shrugging, he entered the shower and quickly washed off the sweat from last night.
After his shower, he went to reach for a towel, but found none. He popped his head out of the door way, and saw nothing one, so he tip toed across the hall to the closet and retrieved a towel. Wrapping it around his waist, he went to his room. However, upon entering, he got a shock as his friend Mayl was standing there waiting for him!
Twenty minutes ago, as Lan entered the bathroom, his mother had answered the door. She was happy to see her son's female friend Mayl at the door, and welcomed her in. They exchanged pleasantries as Mrs. Hikari started a load of laundry. Mayl was curious and found out she was washing Lan's towel as well as all the dirty clothes he kept on the floor of his bedroom. Mayl volunteered to double check his room for more dirty laundry, to which his mother approved.
Mayl smirked as she entered her friend's room and relished in the prank she was about to pull. She grabbed all his underwear and tossed them into the laundry, then went back to his room to empty out his closet until she left the most embarrassing things for Lan to wear. Then, she waited for him to enter and she could spring her trap.
Once Lan entered, Mayl Greeted her friend warmly and hugged him, hoping it would dislodge his towel. However, he was quick enough to grab it before it had a chance to loosen. Mayl then left the room, informing Lan about his mother doing the laundry.
After she left, Lan quickly opened his drawers, hoping to find something clean to wear, as he had a bad habit of leaving his clothes on the floor and not keeping track of what was clean.
