Skye grabbed the Diviner and went in search of Grant Ward. He was her soulmate, she knew that. His past with HYDRA didn't matter anymore. All that mattered was that she knew she needed a partner, someone who could share her gift and her passion. Grant HAD to be that person. The Diviner would test him and if he passed, would bless him and they would be together forever.
The Diviner told Skye that Grant was hiding out in one of his safe houses near the temple. She entered and was immediately confronted by Agent 33 pointing a gun at her. Skye ignored the woman and looked for Grant, who was resting on the couch. Agent 33 ran over and stood protectively in front of him. Skye sighed and waved her hand.
Grant stared open-mouthed as Agent 33 quickly dwindled down to six inches. Skye picked up the tiny woman and put her in a jar on the table. She then took the Diviner over to Grant. He watched as it opened and a red light came out and surrounded him. Skye watched eagerly as Grant slowly but surely shrank smaller and smaller. First he was chin high to her, then breast, waist, knee, and ankle high. He kept shrinking until he was smaller than a grain of sand.
Skye picked him up very very carefully and brought the terrified and tiny man up to her face. "Don't be afraid. Very soon you and I will hopefully be bonded together and then we will change the world for the better." She then deposited his itty bitty form into the Diviner and watched it close.
