You stayed quiet for awhile before Rita spoke up, "Okay," she sighed straightening up, "suppose we let you go. What are you going back to? You say you have family, but you only have you're mother and she isn't exactly the brightest star in your sky, and you've no ideas where your father is do you?"

You stared at her in disbelief, how could she know that? How long had they been watching you? "How long ha-" You were abruptly silenced as Riley covered your mouth with her paw.

"I wasn't finished" Rita replied as she paced around a bit, "You also lack any real friends, you have a few acquaintances... But that's all they are. They don't check up on you or think about you. They never call out of concern or regard for you, it's strictly business." You didn't want to admit it but she was right, there was virtually nobody who cared about you, if you dissappeared they would ask questions, sure, but you sincerely doubt that they'd start a manhunt just to make sure you were ok.

"Even if we did leave you here," Riley broke in, "The government will be here within the hour. You're within one of your miles of our ship. They'll know where you've been and want to lock you up and interrogate you."

This was also true, chances are that someone or something somewhere has a record or picture of you being so close to their landing site. You might as well be E.T. At this point, because the Feds would be on you like white on rice. Besides, this could be the change you were looking for, and even if it wasn't, they said themselves that they weren't going to let you go, and you doubt you could escape them even if you really and/or still wanted to. At length you sigh and decide you should just go willingly.

"You win, I'll come with you," you sigh with a shrug. The three cats looked at each other gleefully.

"We promise we'll take really good care of you!" Rita exclaimed.

"You won't regret this! You'll have tons of fun!" Riley beamed.

"Thank you for coming willingly and giving us a chance" Tammy smiled.

They talk as if you were actually given a choice. Guess they really appreciated the fact that you wanted to go versus them forcing you. Before you could give anymore thought to what was happening, Riley slung you over her shoulder and all three furries began making their way through the woods, presumably too their ship. You get a brief glimpse of an entryway before your world blurs as you're handed off to one of the other two girls. When everything comes back into focus you find yourself sitting in Tammy's lap at some sort of control station. Before you can move or say anything, she fastens a seat belt over both of you, in effect strapping you to her own body. It was rather comfortable for the most part, but kind of weird. You glance up at her questioning lay as she returns your glance with an apologetic smile.

"Sorry, we're in a hurry and we don't really have any chairs that you'll fit in yet," She explains, "So for now, when we leave and land on different planets, you'll have to sit with one of us." She said she was sorry but her face didn't really match her words, her expression looked more like guilty pleasure to you. But you let it pass and watch as she reaches around you to operate the controls.

The three felines start shouting technological space and code phrases to each other, you assume it's a preflight check. Before long though it gets quiet and the ship start to shudder and the sound of rocket engines fills the air and resonates through your bones. You look up and find an oval shaped window just above the work station, you watch as the faint outline of trees surrounding the ship fall away from the window. You feel your body being pressed into Tammy's although she doesn't seem to mind, you feel slightly uncomfortable being so close to someone you just me, especially when they're not even human! Eventually, the night sky in the window is replaced with a black star filled void, and the rattling ceases. You notice your body no longer feels so compressed.

"So how'd we do? Did we make a clean getaway?" Rita asked.

"Several government vehicles are currently surrounding the area we launched from, and there's no doubt that they saw us leave." Tammy reported, "Our stealth technology is advanced, but they found us because they know how to detect us now. We may not ever be able to go back without risk of detection upon entering the earths gravitational field."

"Well I guess it doesn't matter, we won't be coming back here anyway" Rita sighed, "What about the ship? How is she doing, did that last minute takeoff damage anything?"

"We burned out a couple of relays but nothing more, they're an easy fix" Riley replied as she confidently cracked her fingers, "I can repair them when we land."

"Good," Rita nodded, "And how's our passenger?"

Tammy looked down at you, you're face was blank. You were coming to grips with the fact that you were never going to see Earth ever again. Tammy waved a paw in front of your face to get your attention, when you seemed to come back to life she unbuckled you and slid you off of her lap.

"Are you okay?" She asked as she tilted her head.

"Yeah, I'm just thinking... I'm never going to get to go back ever again..." You replied. Just then she slowly stood up, forcing you to slide off of her lap and stand on your own two feet.

"I know it's a lot to take in..." Tammy admitted. Before she could say anymore Riley walked over with a grin.

"Let's take your mind off of it, how about I take you..."
