Chapter #5

Cancer Concern Care Causes Curves

    by: who-me Author IconMail Icon
Let's be frank: Cancer sucks. The alteration of one's body to make malignant tumors, causing pain, suffering, and possibly death, is a harrowing experience. The Rockwallers knew this as Bonnie Rockwaller's cousin had just gone through treatment for one cancer caused by a genetic defect. This purred Mrs. Rockwaller to find a reputable doctor to see if her DNA or her daughters' had the same potential ailment.

The labs of Dr. Delilah Nancy Amber were just outside of Middleton. After one preliminary visit, where they didn't actually meet the doctor just her nurse practitioner, the family was called back a few weeks later. Bonnie sat in the waiting room with her bombshell sisters and petite mother. Mrs. rockwaller was reading some old magazine left on the sitting room. It was an old one from a year ago.

"So, we must have some bad genes," Connie said under her breath. She looked at Bonnie.

"Yeah. To think someone in this family could be dragging us down," Lonnie added. Bonnie ignored them, but fumed softly. The nurse came and took them to a room to meet with the doctor. Each one sat in a hard chair. Bonnie felt... uneasy about this. Her instincts were telling her to get the heck out, but she did as her family and sat down.

A short, rotund woman walked in, smiling as she looked over the paperwork. She looked vaguely familiar to Bonnie. Her greasy hair and glasses were drawing some memory but couldn't place it. "Doctor, what's the news? Do we have the gene for that cancer?" Mrs. Rockwaller asked. The doctor looked up confused for a moment.

"Oh. Is that what had you worried?" She laughed. "No! Well, I didn't find that, but I did find what geneticists would call the Holy Grail of recessive genes. You see, you have this very small gene which, if activated, would make you probably immune from cancer and other ailments. I named it the Amazonia Maxima gene." The doctor laughed again. "It's a genetic mutation that comes about only in women. When I saw it and synthesized it before infusing it into a lab mouse, the results were promising." She typed on her computer and on a tv in the room showed a lab mouse no bigger than half a human hand. It went through some bath, and then the next image showed it as large as a human hand.

"Holy Crap," Lonnie said.

"Language dear," Mrs. Rockwaller said. "Doctor, this is interesting but we only wanted to know about our health risks. If we have none, than you for your time."

"Oh, you're mistaken. Two of you are the rarest finds I've ever had. I won't let you go at all. I want to see what becomes of you when I activate this gene and supercharge it," the doctor said. She pressed a button and restraints popped out from the chairs. Bonnie's face widened.

"You! You're the woman who did that freaky thing to Mr. Barkin!" Bonnie said. "D-DNAmy!"

"You recognize the villain now?" Lonnie asked, trying to break free.

"Stupid runt! Think more!" Connie yelled.

"Now. Now, that was some years ago. I hope Steve's doing well. But really, you two. Treating your superior sister like this is shameful," the mad doctor said, drawing out four syringes. She injected one into their mother, who past out. "After all, you two lack this precious gene. Bonnie here has it." That was all they got out of the woman before being drugged.

The next few hours were a blur for Bonnie Rockwaller. IVs were inserted into her, she was laid in some bath and then a tube. Her body tingled all over. It felt... heavier and lighter at the same time. Her clothing hurt and the hospital gown she was wearing became too small. She didn't really comprehend what was going on. Only the mad woman's laughter was a constant.

"Excellent! Excellent!" DNAmy cheered. "You will be my first Muscle Buddy!"

"Let... me... go," Bonnie moaned. Her back was on some cold table. She felt so groggy.

"Hm. You're working through the sedative quickly... This body has other perks too. Time to see how your mother is doing," DNAmy said before leaving. Hearing her mother was in danger spurred something inside Bonnie. She had to help. She had to protect her mother. She tightened her hands and worked against the drugs dulling her mind. She felt her hands raise up as she struggled against the bindings on her. As she overcame them, some alarm started blaring. A familiar voice was heard but Bonnie couldn't place it. Once her hands broke free, she noticed a strap over her ... Was her chest always this big? Her skin felt different. She ripped off the strap and looked at her legs. They seemed thicker than before. She leaned forward and her forearms were similarly bigger, ripped with muscle, but her mind focused only on getting free. She pulled off the thick metal bindings on her ankles and turned to get off the table. Her feet hit the ground sooner than before and as she rose, she felt woozy for a moment. The sedative was still trying to work through her body. She lumbered to the door, her heavy feet smacking the ground. The door seemed.... too small for her. She couldn't think why. Nothing was making sense. Then the door opened and she saw her... Kim Possible. The hero of high school, but she looked like a middle schooler as she stared up at Bonnie's face.

======

Kim rushed from the defeated DNAmy, bound by cuffs and wire with Ron sitting on her. Bonnie's sisters were helpful, after berating Kim for taking too long in saving them. They really were like Bonnie, but in the end told Kim which direction Bonnie was rolled off into. She came to the first doors and rushed in. Her feet stopped just inside the door. Bonnie Rockwaller was before her, a titan of muscle and power. Kim doubted she came to the woman's nipples. Maybe just the underside of her now huge breasts. Each body part looked like it was maxed out. One arm alone looked like it could break steel. Glancing at the table behind Bonnie, told Kim that was actually the case.

"Kim," came a growl from above. Kim looked up as Bonnie's face became focused only on Kim.
