This choice: Jasmine gets to the lamp first • Go Back...Chapter #16Jasmine gets to the lamp first by: Cardio   "I found it!" Jasmine called up holding the golden lamp in her hands. Aladda was happy to see that the lamp had been found at all but she still really wanted to get a hold of it first to make her wish herself back to being Aladdin. Jasmine walked to Genie and said, "So I have three wishes was it?"
"That is indeed correctomundo my dear, but there are a number of rules that you should know about..."
"Can you fix the awful things Jafar did? Will that violate any rules?" Jasmine asked practically pleading with Genie.
Genie was a bit startled, perhaps because this would be the first not selfish wish he'd heard...maybe ever. "Yeah I could do that but don't you want anything for yourself." Genie said giving Jasmine an out to be selfish.
"No, I want you to, no, I wish for you to please fix my father and the guards and everything." Jasmine said with the authority of someone who knows what they want.
Genie's eyes lit up, "Mam yes mam!" And a series poofs of magic popped up everywhere Jafar had done damage. The flowers that were now in a beautiful display made my genie turned into the guards standing in a human pyramid that fell apart fairly quickly, and the horse turned back into Jasmine's father including a brand spanking new sultan outfit for a bonus touch that features not one but two fancy feathers on the hat. The sultan kissed Jasmines hand and then made his way to Aladda and did the same. "My beautiful daughters, my brave beautiful daughts. I am so proud of you both, and I'm sure your mother would be too if she were here."
"Mother..." Jasmine said sadly. Genie hearing this quickly tapped her on the shoulder, "Not to ruin the moment but before you get any ideas in your head just know that one of the rules that I have is not bringing back the dead."
Jasmine smiled, "It's okay, I wasn't going to wish for that. I miss her but I know she is gone and I accept that. But I do wonder...why hasn't Aladda changed back?"
Aladda was stunned by what she just said, did she just remember he used to be Aladdin? Jasmine continued, " I mean why is she dressed in that wedding outfit that Jafar made her wear when he married her."
Aladda looked down at her hand and sure enough the gold band was still there, in all the magic and chaos of the last few minutes Aladda hadn't even registured that he still was dressed as Jafar's bride.
Genie pulled at a collar on his neck that magically appeared, "You see, that wasn't done with Jafar's magic, he wished for that so the only way to change Aladda being married to Jafar is with another wish. Sorry, I'd undo it myself if I could." Genie looked very sorry towards Aladda who looked at the black lamp that contained Jafar with disgust.
"Well that won't do, Genie, I know what I want for my second wish,"
"No Jasmine! Don't use a wish on that, just...give me the lamp and I'll use a wish on it myself."
"No Aladda I insist, you risked everything for me, let me just give this to you, you deserve happiness and being married to Jafar could never give you that. Genie for my second wish..." | Members who added to this interactive story also contributed to these: |
