Chapter #7

Lunch Part II

    by: Mindovermatter Author IconMail Icon
"Nah, I think I'd be sick..." you say. It's mostly true. Sure, you might be able to handle a little more, but feel like you're close to your absolute limit.

"Alright, suit yourself," said Devon as he pushed himself away from the table. The two chairs supporting his girth screeched against the floor. "I'm getting some more then. I had a light breakfast after all," he said getting onto his feet.

"Did you now?" you ask.

"Yeah, I only had time to eat a half dozen doughnuts this morning. Serves me right for oversleeping, I guess. Better not do that again. Breakfast is the most important meal, after all." Devon gave you a wink as he waddled back to the front counter of the restaurant.

"Looks like every meal is the most important meal for you," you say under your breath as you look over your shoulder and watch Devon's well-padded haunches jiggle and wobble away.

Being a courteous guest, you decide to clean off the table while you wait for Devon to return. You crumple up the foil wrappers littering your table onto the tray and walk it over to one of the garbage cans. As you dump your trash, you notice your paws are stained with sauce. So, you head over to the bathroom and wash up. Before you leave, you lift up your shirt to see the damage lunch has done to you. Your white-furred stomach, once flat, now is considerably convex, no doubt because of how bloated you are on burritos. It's nothing compared to Devon, let alone many of the big-bellied furs you've seen in this city. But you figure you'll deflate back down once lunch is digested. You give your stuffed midsection a quick rub before pulling down your shirt and exiting the bathroom.

When you come back to your table, Devon has already returned with the second half of his lunch. Quesadillas are stacked one atop another on a tray, each filled with gooey cheese and various meat like pork and chicken and steak. As you sit back down, Devon is taking an entire quesadilla, folding it in half, and devoring it like a slice of pizza.

You watch in awe as the heavy kangaroo sucks down quesadilla after quesadilla. Your silent stares catch Devon's attention, and he coyly smiles.

"Mmm....God, these are so good!" he says melodramatically. "Ah, absolutely delicious!" He takes a massive bite out of the quesadilla he's holding and slowly chews it, occasionally giving off an exaggerated moan of pleasure. More bites, more moans, and the quesadilla is gone.

Devon picks up another one off the tray. "Steak! These are my favorite! They smell so delicious." He holds a steaming quesadilla up to your nose. "Doesn't it smell great?"

You take a whiff and the 'roo was right. That smell alone got your mouth watering.

Devon quickly pulled the quesadilla away and chowed it down in a few bites. His already rounded cheeks bludged out considerably as he chewed in bliss.

"You're really missing out, foxy!" he said after swallowing. "But I get it, skiny guys like you can only eat so little." He grabbed another from the pile in front on him. "Too bad. More for me then." He gave you another wink before folding that quesadilla in half a biting deeply into it.

As you watch Devon eat and eat, he continues to tease you. While your stomach is telling you that you're really full, your brain is making you want even more food.

Devon sees the conflict in your face and decides to strike. He hold up another quesadilla to your muzzle, chicken, this time. A devious smile is on his face. "Don't you want a bite? Just one? Just a taste?"
