Always steady and careful Jaz's fingers gently planted themselves on either ends of the planet and effortlessly plucked it from its natural orbital rotation. An entire world filled with billions of lives, no bigger than a marble between her fingers. It would be a true catastrophe if she hadn't done this same act on a regular basis. At first scientists were convinced that Earth's natural polarity would be destroyed and the global weather would be thrown out of wack but sometimes science is just wrong. As was the case here. When Jaz first plucked the planet everyone was convinced the world was now ending but to the surprise of many, nothing ever happened. It was just one of many things the Giga Goddess found she could get away with.
"You know...I've been thinking a lot lately..." The girl began. Usually her words rolled of the tongue one after another so for her to pause caught the world's attention. It was never a good sign. "It's been a couple years since I first came to space and became Goddess to you germs you know. All this time you guys have been amazing about attending to my needs and doing everything a girl could ever ask for. Yet I haven't been doing too much for you guys. I mean, I can't imagine how rough it is living on that cramped planet when there's all this other, better space out here in the universe! So good ol Goddess Jazzy is going to help you guys colonize space!"
Hoo...ray?
No one really knew how to react. Jasmine was talking about a massive world changing event here as casually as she would dinner and it didn't sound too bad honestly. Technologically people could live in space but there'd be an issue of travel and supplies, both easily solvable by someone of their Deity's stature. Overpopulation was a big issue these days too...So why did the grin filling the sky of the planet make everyone uneasy?
"I hope you guys are ready...cause one of you lucky continents is going to live in the greatest, most beautiful place ever!" With her free hand Jasmine hovered a pail of fingers near Earth's orbit, eyeing the different landmasses. There was Asia...or was it North America? Honestly it was so hard to tell when they're all so small. Regardless, it was the chosen land. "Hope you're ready!" The warning was moot, no one could ever be ready. Gracefully Jaz's feminine nails dug into the planet around the edges of the land. In easily the single greatest bit of destruction ever known to mankind this girl with just her finger nails completely pulled the continent of Asia straight off of the planet. There was no battle to keep it rooted. Jasmine barely registered any resistance before this massive landmass pulled itself free. Billions of people immediately collapsed as literally their entire world was broken apart at the whims of this young girl. People on Asia couldn't even react. It was something worse than any natural disaster, something completely unstoppable and something they couldn't even fully fathom.
Asia was now in the depths of space.
The continent was totally free of its planet. There was no way to ever undo the damage. The land was just in for whatever this girl had in mind.
"Welcome to your new home!"
Jaz flashed the country towards something millions of miles away but no human could ever make out anything more than the endless cocoa skin blotting out their sky. Unbeknownst to them...Jaz pointed the country towards her toes. It was a motion as simple as bending over. The Giga Goddess lowered her hand to her outstretched toes and placed this speck-sized land between her big and second toe. She smiled proudly knowing that she did such an act without any sort of casualties. Only a Goddess such as her was capable of this.
Kinda itches though...
Ever so carefully the goddess wiggled her toes to remedy the problem. She could feel some buildings collapse and the ground break apart but she minimized the damage as best she could.
To the poor humans now between her toes it was something else. On either end of the land was endless plains of light brown. Two massive walls that put the land's own Great Wall to pitiful shame. The appendages didn't even look like toes...they just...were brown. They were beyond description. Asia was now just...in a vast brown field of unimaginable size.
"A new location means a new name you know..." Jaz grinned to her toes (Truth be told she couldn't even really see them that well). "I'm thinking...Toe Jam." Everyone realized where they were, not that it did any good. Before panic could start the Goddess' laughter broke it off. "Just kidding. But since I am kind of your land owner I have a few ground rules."
The audacity of it all was beyond belief. But everyone knew they were powerless and at the very least this Goddess would never do them harm.
"First off we need to talk about my Daily Worship. Since you guys live there now you have to worship my feet okay? This means I always want people regularly worshiping them...Licking and Kissing you know how it is...You guys can take shifts. Oh! And I want a church...A nice big statue of me. You got it? As for food and such...You guys can grow whatever you want, expand however you want and so forth. If you need supplies brought in from Earth let me know. You guys also get to eat off the land! I'm sure I have so many microscopic specks of dirt on my feet you guys can help yourself. Same with any sweat I have...Though I don't think that'll be a problem. I don't sweat often....Anywho!" Jaz struck her Goddess pose, arms at her hips and a big grin as her chest puffed out. "You guys gotta thank your Goddess now you know!"
Without much a choice the land now between Jaz's toes got on their knees and kissed the brown ground beneath them.
