He suddenly came to, finding himself in a whole new location. Looking around, he was in an unfamiliar office, though a look out its window showed him that he had somehow ended up in the Soul Society. "How did I get here?" he asked out loud. He then noticed that he was no longer in his school uniform, but instead wore the standard shinigami robes, though his Zangetsu was strangely absent though, and instead he had a normal sized zanpakuto at his side. On his left arm was an armband, though he thought nothing of it at the time. Other than the sword, he didn't realize anything was off.
