Chapter #20Continue. by: Unknown You open your eyes. Nearly a week has passed since you've met Meloetta and you have been living inside her body since then. You know almost every part of her body now. Though you are still wondering about a small, mysterious hole that frequently appeared during your exploration. You though about going through it a few times, but if you just looked at it, it would simply shut close and disappear. So you decided to forget it.
"Good morning, trainer." Meloetta's usual cheerful voice greets you as you get up.
"Slept well?"
"Yes... as always though." you reply, making her giggle.
You head into the personal bathroom right next your bedroom and decide to take a quick shower.
Once you're done, you step out, dry yourself and get dressed, before heading out of the bathroom, where Meloetta is waiting for you.
"Say human." she says looking at you.
"What are you going to do today?"
"Um, the usual things I guess. Why?" you ask.
"Oh, nothing important. But I think I'm going to show some new places today." she replies.
"Really? What are they?" you ask curiously. Meloetta giggles.
"You'll find out in due time. Now go get breakfast. I think you know the way." she replies, fading away. You nod to yourself and exit your room, passing through the tunnel that leads into the Food Store.
You catch a quick breakfast and get up. Shortly after, Meloetta appears again.
"Okay human, I think I can show one of the new places now. Meet me at Memory Chamber." she tells you, fading once again.
You do as instructed and, within five minutes, you get to the familiar dark room where Meloetta's Memory Mirror is placed. She's waiting for you next to it.
"Glad to see you came." she says, smiling.
"Now, here." she gets behind the mirror. You follow her and notice a hole, similar to the mysterious one, but much bigger.
You look at Meloetta, who nods. You touch the sphincter, which opens itself, revealing what seems a cliff, a deep blue sea roaring downwards.
"Welcome to my Imagination Lounge." the green headed pokemon says, entering after you.
"Imagination? You mean...?" you ask.
"That's right. Everything I imagine can be seen here. And about the cliff... I thought it would be a great playground." she explains.
"Playground?" you parrot back. Meloetta giggles.
"Yes human. Playground. I want to play with you for a bit." she says.
"Do I have a choice?" you ask. The green haired pokemon shakes her head. And then... she suddenly starts growing before your eyes.
"Meloetta... what... why?" you ask.
"Well trainer, I think we can have some real fun if I'm bigger than you." she replies, empathizing the word 'real' .
And then, without adding any other word, she flies toward you, her paw wrapping around your torso and scooping you up like you were a doll. Meloetta quickly lifts her paw to the white landscape of her head and drops you on it.
"Okay then, let the fun begin!" she beams, starting to fly around.
Surely, Meloetta's idea of fun is very different from yours, as she just spent the successive hours flying around while singing or, eventually, shifting into Pirouette Form and starting to dance while you were still on her head. But you're actually having fun. In fact, you completely lose the track of time.
Just when the now redheaded pokemon stops her dance and lets you down on the ground, you have a chance to look at your watch. It's 8 PM.
"Oh, it's already that late?" Meloetta asks, while slowly returning to her normal size.
"Very well, trainer, I think you should have dinner now." she says. Maybe you're just seeing things, but you're sure a small smirk just appeared on her face, right before she fades, leaving you alone.
You shrug it off and walk out of Imagination Lounge, heading to the Food Store. You have dinner - daring to try berries you didn't even know that existed, assuming they are very rare, and some of the strong berry juice Meloetta provided you, which tasted surprisingly sweet - before deciding to head back to your bedroom inside her head. As you walk through the fleshy tunnel, though, you once again notice the sphincter that leads to unknown places within Meloetta's body.
You look around. There's no sign of Meloetta, and the passage is still here. So you reluctantly extend a hand to touch it. Surprisingly, it doesn't disappear like the other time you tried to get it to open, this time it actually opens.
You stare inside it. The passage is really dark, and it's impossible for you to see where it leads. You can just go through it and find out what Meloetta is hiding from you from a whole week.
Weird. You had been trying to discover what is on the other side of his hole for a week, yet now you feel you shouldn't explore this part, unless Meloetta tells you so. But you're extremely curious, and you have the chance to satiate your curiosity.
You hesitate for a few minutes, trying to decide if you should go across this dark tunnel or just forget it and wait for Meloetta to tell you to explore it. You linger about what to do for still a few seconds, before finally deciding yourself...   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
