This choice: Rainbow has an idea for a stunt with Pinkie. • Go Back...Chapter #8Rainbow has an idea for a stunt with Pinkie. by: Unknown Rainbow, although befuddled over Pinkie's size, managed to slowly walk up to her massive friend and give her friend's fat a poke. After giving it a few more pokes, she gave a gentle punch at the fat, which ricocheted back with surprising force.
"You okay, Dashie?" Pinkie asked as she noticed her friend on the ground.
"Yeah...I'm fine..." Rainbow said as she got back up. She stepped back a few paces and thoughtfully put a hoof to her chin.
"So...you can get as fat and big as you want...and not get affected by it?"
"Yup!"
"Hmm...so...would you mind doing me a favor?"
45 minutes later...
"What now, Rainbow?" Pinkie asked, now laying on her back. Rainbow gave another glance at the blueprint and looked back up at Pinkie.
"Could you fatten your belly about five feet higher?" Pinkie gave a nod and clenched the fat back onto her body, swelling outwards a few more feet.
"And...Perfect!"
"Okay! Should we get other ponies to see this??"
"Well, if all goes right, we won't need to..." She insisted courageously as she trotted up to the massive pine tree Pinkie was laid next to. After a few minutes of climbing, she was perched atop a branch directly above the pink blob below. She gave one final deep breath as she closed her eyes.
"Ready, and..." Rainbow folded her wings back and jumped, sinking downwards and plummeting toward s the ground. She squinted at the wind stinging at her eyes, watching as Pinkie grew closer and closer. She clenching her eyes shut just as she impacted Pinkie's body, which was only a second before she was ricocheted upwards with tenfold speed.
"GO RAINBOW, GO!" Pinkie cheered at the shrinking blue dot in the sky. Rainbow thrashed around as she tumbled upwards, forcing herself to maintain a vertical position. Once aligned, she shot her wings outward and flapped with all her might, fighting the atmosphere as it tried to reject her efforts. Ten seemingly eternal seconds of intense flying had passed as she fought the atmospheric cone with all her might, which at last started to give way as Rainbow was propelled forward in a deafening explosion.
"KA-BLAM!!!"
Pinkie's eyes widened as the blue speck exploded into several massive shockwaves of color, which shook the ground beneath her and jiggled her flab.
"Ooooooooohhhh!" She awed in amazement as the color dissipated into sparkling bits of color. Ponies for miles had heard the explosion and looked up in awe as the sky was filled with shining colors. Rainbow looked behind her and gawked in amazement.
"I DID IT! IT'S EVEN BETTER!!!" she laughed to herself, beaming with pride.
As the final waves of color gave way, the exhausted pegasus finally descended towards ground. She plopped back and panted heavily on Pinkie's stomach, who cheered her friend on.
"YAY!!! YOU DID IT, RAINBOW!"
"Yeah...*pant*...I did...*huff*" She'd managed to chuckle.
"This calls for a celebration! I'll go to Sugarcube Corner and make the biggest cake I've ever made!"
"Thanks...*huff*...Pinkie..."
With a nod, Pinkie slowly wormed herself around so that she could walk.   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
