I'd been hiding in the bookshelves for half an hour. It wasn't worth it anymore. What was taking them so long?
Several hours ago, I had entered the mall to do some shopping. Maybe to catch a movie or something. Christina was supposed to join me after she finished her radio broadcast. Unfortunately, I ran into Lisa and Alicia soon after I arrived. With bags in my hands, I was moving slowly, and easy prey for the pair of girls.
When Lisa shared her idea of today's entertainment, I immediately refused. The three of us walking along, Lisa on my left, Alicia on my right, they each reached for my bags, wrenching them from my hands. I tried to grab for them, but they quickly moved them out of my range. "Come on, give me my stuff!" I demanded.
Alicia laughed at my demand, and Lisa started sifting through my purchases. "It would be such a shame if you never got this stuff back, huh, Erica?" she asked. Everything went downhill from there. I was steered into the bookstore by the pair of them and towards one of the sections towards the back of the store.
"Let's get started," Lisa said with great anticipation.
