"I've got a couple of spells here that are supposed to affect a pony's body in some way, but I couln't find out what the effects are supposed to be. So I need a test subject, which is where you come in." Twilight turned and looked you straight in the eyes. "Are you up for it?"
"Sure," you say. "What harm could it be?"
"Well... Truth be told, I don't actually know the spells that reverse the effects of the two I've got here. In fact, I don't even know if they exist at all."
Oh dear. If Twilight casts that spell on you, there's a decent chance you'll be stuck as whatever you end up as forever.
Hopefully it'll be something good.
You smile warmly at Twilight to hide your apprehension, before asking her to cast the spell. "Well, nothing quite like a leap into the unkown, is there. You ready to cast that spell?"
"I said that there's two, remember? I was going to let you pick which one you wanted. After all, you're going to be the one in the line of fire, so to speak." She flipped the book open to the page with the two spells on, beckoning you over. "I've made some notes underneath about what I think might happen based on the spell's composition, but they're probably very innaccurate."
You trot over to the book and inspect the pages, trying to find some important difference between the two. Unfortunately they both look very similar to you, and you can't seem to glean anything useful from Twilight's scribbled notes. You choose one at random before moving to the centre of the library floor, allowing the most space for any effects of the spell.
