You awake, blinking your eyes in confusion. The warm sun on your face calms you, however. "Tixie...", you mumble happily, waiting for your mama to arrive. You're hungry, and can't wait to see what your mama has brought you.
But there's no answer. Giggling, you swing your head round. Surely your mama's there somewhere? She'd never leave you for long, you know that. The room is blurry, but you can tell something is different. "Tixie! Tixie!", you yell, suddenly in a panic. Nothing. You stumble to your hooves and totter across the room - but stare round in surprise and horror. The wagon is empty - cleaned out. Books, furniture, Trixie's huge magic tricks cabinet, all vanished. Even your doll is gone. All that's left is your bed, and you. Nobody's there for you.
You burst into tears and fall to the floor. Curled up in a ball, you mess yourself, which makes you cry even harder. Sobbing, a helpless foal with no mother. You're hungry, confused, and afraid. You lie there bawling, as the light slowly fades in the room.
But then you hear a sound. She's back! She must be! The door opens. "Mama?", you manage to choke out between sobs. But it's not your mama. A large yellow pegasus pony peers round the door. "Um..."
